Engineering Manager, Web Marketing at Airtable. The Web Marketing team owns Airtable’s logged-out surfaces, including the homepage, product pages, and campaign experiences that serve as the first touchpoint for millions of visitors. Airtable.com is our online billboard and the central place where the world meets our brand, learns what we stand for, and discovers how Airtable can power their work. As Engineering Manager, you’ll lead the technical direction and execution for Airtable.com, ensuring it’s fast, reliable, accessible, and able to keep up with changing business needs. You’ll partner closely with Marketing, Design, and Product to build web experiences that showcase our brand and drive awareness and sign-ups.
Note: Airtable employs a hybrid model (office or remote). This level is based in San Francisco and requires being in the office approximately 2–3 times per week for team collaboration.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, manage, and grow a team of engineers, located in the US and offshore, responsible for Airtable’s logged-out web experience.
- Partner with engineering leaders to drive technical decisions and initiatives to build products in a high-quality and sustainable way.
- Nurture a team of passionate and capable engineers; partner with senior engineers to multiply their impact, and coach & grow early-career engineers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional peers including product, design, and marketing to define and execute short- and long-term strategy and plans for the team.
- Implement processes to help the team scale and be productive while maintaining agility in a dynamic environment.
Who You Are
- 5+ years experience as an engineer (previously in a staff or tech-lead level IC position) and 2+ years as a manager, or a similar combination.
- Strong foundation in modern front-end development (TypeScript, React, Next.js).
- Experience with CMS-driven environments, SEO, and marketing technology stacks.
- Strong customer focus and experience working closely with Product and Marketing partners to define goals, manage trade-offs, and deliver impact.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality web experiences and design.
- Experience leading high-performing engineering teams in fast-paced environments.
- Experience in growing and mentoring engineers.
- Experience managing, organizing, and prioritizing multiple projects and work streams.

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation awarded to successful candidates varies by location, skills, and experience. Our total compensation package includes benefits, restricted stock units, and may include incentive compensation. For work locations in the San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, New York City, and Los Angeles, the base salary range is $213,900 – $277,600 USD.
