The Role

This company are seeking an experienced and visionary Engineering Director to lead our engineering and technical services function across multiple sites. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving capital projects, process optimization, facilities engineering, equipment design and selection, maintenance, and utilities infrastructure in alignment with our growth and compliance goals.

Key Responsibilities Lead and develop a high-performing team of engineers, maintenance professionals, and project managers. Oversee site and corporate-level capital projects from concept through commissioning, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes, utilities, and facilities. Partner with R&D, Operations, Quality, and EHS to ensure seamless scale-up and commercialization of new products. Ensure regulatory compliance with GMP, FDA, OSHA, and environmental regulations. Own preventative maintenance programs and asset reliability strategies. Lead technical assessments and due diligence for facility expansions and technology investments. Foster a culture of safety, innovation, and operational excellence. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related field); Master's preferred. 10+ years of engineering leadership experience in a regulated manufacturing environment; personal care, cosmetics, pharma, or related industries highly preferred. Proven success managing capital projects and cross-functional teams. Deep understanding of GMPs, process validation, and scale-up methodologies. Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills. Hands-on, collaborative leadership style with a passion for mentoring and developing talent.
