Job Description
Lead cross-functional engineering projects including product development, customization, and continuous improvement efforts
Translate customer and market requirements into actionable technical specifications
Collaborate closely with operations teams to implement process improvements and support lean manufacturing initiatives
Mentor and develop engineering staff, fostering strong technical and project management capabilities
Partner with executive leadership and commercial teams to support product roadmap planning and execution
Ensure all products meet applicable certifications, regulations, and industry standards
Oversee product testing, certification processes, and patent filings as applicable
Develop and manage the engineering budget, aligning technical resources with strategic priorities

The Successful Applicant
Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams in a manufacturing or product development environment
Strong project management skills and a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget
Experience collaborating with operations and manufacturing teams to support product launch and design-for-manufacturability (DFM)
Proven ability to build and develop high-performing, multidisciplinary engineering teams
Effective communicator who can bridge technical and business perspectives
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field (Master's preferred)
6+ years of progressive engineering leadership experience, ideally including Director-level roles
Background in engineered products, construction materials, industrial equipment, or related sectors preferred
Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks applicable to manufactured products
What's on Offer
Base salary $170,000 - $200,000 Depending on Experience
15% annual bonus target
