Our client is seeking an experienced Engineering Director to lead a Community Infrastructure Engineering Team, focusing on commercial development projects. This leadership role offers the opportunity to manage a dynamic team while driving the successful execution of large-scale commercial projects, both within Florida and nationally.

As the Engineering Director, you will bring your expertise in project management, client relations, and design oversight to guide the team in delivering high-quality solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of permitting processes, as well as experience managing scope, schedule, and design to meet client expectations.

Responsibilities Lead and develop a team of project managers, engineers, and technicians focused on delivering commercial development projects within community infrastructure. Oversee all phases of project execution, including permitting, scope management, scheduling, and design oversight. Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and repeat business. Drive the successful delivery of projects on time, within scope, and budget, while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and standards. Actively pursue new business opportunities with commercial clients in Florida and nationally. Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes to provide strategic direction for the team and clients. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred. 15+ years of progressive project management experience, with a focus on commercial clients in Florida and nationally. In-depth knowledge of commercial development processes, permitting, and design oversight. Proven ability to manage scope, schedule, and budgets for complex engineering projects. Strong leadership skills, with experience in team building, mentorship, and development. Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with a client-focused mindset.
