Position is part-time, .2FTE. Early Childhood or Parent Educator License is required.
General Defintion of Work
Performs intermediate human support work scheduling, advertising, supervising staff, working with other agencies to enhance program, managing budget, writing grants, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Principal. Program supervision is exercised over Early Childhood Family Education Teacher.

Essential Functions
Develops programs for families with children from birth to age five (5).
Establishes short and long term program goals for Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE).
Writes crouse descriptions to market ECFE offerings.
Monitors budget activity.
Recruites, trains, supervises and evaluates instructors and management aides.
Receives and relies to requests for information about programs and services.
Promotes and evaluates programs and recruits children and families for participation.
Recruites families to ECFE through newsletters, school newspaper and brochures.
Communicates with other agencies to enhance programs.
Researches and looks for appportunities for funding; performs grant writing.
Prepares and maintians files and reports regarding programs, enrollment and services.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Comprehensive knowledge of the principles and practices of early childhood education programs and procedures; comprehensive knowledge of practices applicable to early childhood educational programs and students; excellent written and oral comminications skills; ability to plan and supervise the work of others; ability to acknowledge students' background knowledge, enviremnemtn and learning goals to adapt teaching and learning methods; ability to use modern office equipment and related software; ability to establish and maintain effectyive working relationships with parents, children, co-workers, staff and administrators, advisory board and the general public.
Education and Experience Bachelors from an accredited college or university and considerable experience working with children and families, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Early Childood Educator license required.
