Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our Indy Metro Region leadership team in the role of Director - Quality & Safety.
The Director - Quality & Safety (Quality Focused) provides strategic, operational, and thought leadership to support the goals of Indiana University Health. This position is responsible for the development, implementation, and execution of the Quality Assessment/Performance Improvement (QAPI) and Infection Prevention (IP) Program(s) within the region, in collaboration with the Board of Directors, medical staff, and senior leadership.
This leader collaborates with colleagues to ensure measurable improvements in health outcomes, the prevention of medical errors, and the reduction of patient harm. The Director of Quality & Safety directs, facilitates, and influences the alignment of clinical quality, patient safety, and infection prevention improvement efforts within the region, promoting the adoption of local and national benchmarks for best practices. Additionally, the Director ensures active regional representation and engagement in IU Health System quality, patient safety, and infection prevention initiatives.
