The Director of Brand Sponsorships + Events is a visionary leader responsible for shaping Edward Jones’ presence in culture through strategic partnerships and immersive brand experiences. They are responsible for developing and managing a disciplined portfolio of partnerships and events — from national tentpoles to community programs — selected for audience fit and cultural relevance. They design activations that lift brand equity and consideration, deepen advisor engagement, and create spaces where clients, prospects, and communities connect with Edward Jones in meaningful ways.
What you'll do...
Curate Strategic Partnerships: Identify and secure sponsorships and event opportunities that align with brand values, audience priorities, and cultural relevance.
Design Immersive Experiences: Develop high-impact activations that bring the brand to life and create memorable, meaningful connections. This includes leveraging paid, earned, social and owned channels to bring partnerships to life in ways that are relevant and valuable to financial advisors and their clients.
Champion Cultural Relevance: Continuously monitor trends and cultural shifts to keep sponsorships and events timely, inclusive, and influential.
Drive Brand Presence: Ensure Edward Jones shows up in the right cultural moments and markets to maximize visibility and influence with programs that strengthen brand perception, increase consideration, and reinforce trust.
Deepen Advisor Engagement: Create experiences that energize and empower advisors as brand ambassadors. Design and develop scalable and customizable platforms, tools, and SOPs that empower over 20k+ financial advisors to leverage national sponsorships in their local markets.
Measure Impact: Define KPIs and track performance to demonstrate ROI and optimize future sponsorship and event strategies.
Foster Community Connection: Build spaces where clients, prospects, and communities engage authentically with the brand.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with marketing, communications, and field teams to ensure alignment and integration across channels.
Manage third-party agencies and partners : Identify, onboard and lead third-party agencies to develop sponsorship and events strategies and activate to drive brand and business growth.
