Position Summary:
The Director of Website Experience & Conversion Optimization will own the company’s most important digital growth channel — our website. This role is responsible for ensuring our website not only reflects the brand but also functions as a high-converting demand engine. The ideal candidate blends marketing strategy, growth mindset, and data-driven experimentation to drive measurable increases in traffic conversion, pipeline generation, and revenue. You will partner closely across marketing and sales to build seamless, high-impact customer journeys that maximize acquisition, engagement, and conversion.
Key Responsibilities:
Website Growth Strategy:
Own the strategy for continuous improvements, ensuring an intuitive, high-converting user experience.
Ensure site speed, mobile usability, and accessibility meet industry’s best practices.
Monitor key website performance metrics (e.g., bounce rate, time on page, conversion rates) and make rapid, data-driven decisions.
Ensure messaging, positioning, and content align with target personas and growth objectives.
Conversion & Revenue Optimization:
Identify friction points in the user journey and propose and implement solutions to improve website usability and engagement.
Implement and evolve measurably effective web personalization experiences, based on a strong understanding of our target personas.
Partner with UX/UI designers to enhance the visual and functional aspects of the website.
Implement and optimize lead generation forms, CTAs, and landing pages.
Drive measurable improvements in lead capture, MQLs, SQLs, and pipeline contribution.
Build and manage a robust testing program to improve conversion, engagement, and lead generation (A/B, multivariate, personalization).
Optimize landing pages, forms, calls-to-action, and conversion flows with a relentless focus on business impact.
Data & Performance Insights:
Own website performance metrics and deliver clear reporting on traffic, conversion, pipeline, and revenue contribution.
Use analytics tools (GA4, HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce, etc.) to uncover insights and identify growth levers.
Translate data into actionable recommendations for continuous optimization.
Cross-Functional Growth Partner:
Collaborate with demand gen on campaigns and paid media to ensure landing page and funnel effectiveness.
Partner with brand and product marketing to ensure the site tells the brand story and supports product launches.
Work with sales to align website conversion points with sales handoff and follow-up.
Leadership & Execution:
Lead a team of website managers, CRO specialists, and external agencies to deliver results.
Establish best practices for growth experimentation, measurement, and knowledge sharing.
Foster a culture of speed, agility, and measurable impact.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (Master’s a plus).
8+ years of experience in growth marketing, digital demand generation with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Proven success scaling website-driven pipeline and revenue.
Strong expertise with CRO and analytics tools (e.g., GA4, HubSpot, Marketo, Optimizely, Hotjar, Clearbit, 6sense, etc.).
Deep understanding of demand generation funnels, marketing automation, and lead scoring.
Comfortable working at the intersection of marketing, sales, and digital experience.
Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to influence executive stakeholders.
