Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI is seeking a DIRECTOR- VOLUNTEER & GUEST SERVICES to join our VOLUNTEERS team! The Director of Volunteer and Guest Services is accountable for the organization and implementation of all volunteer services functioning under the auspices of Aspirus Wausau Hospital Supports all volunteer activities throughout Aspirus, Inc. and its subsidiary organizations and acts as a resource to give assistance and guidance as needed. Coordinates the recruitment, retention monitoring, and recognition of all volunteers and volunteer supported staff. Supervises day-to-day operations of all volunteer areas. Collaborates data management for volunteer areas. Provides staff support for Gift Shop, Starbucks, Lifeline and Guest Services. Performs analysis of organizational and operational systems to identify areas in need of improvement, control or change. Designs systems and processes to measure and or increase quality and efficiency of existing services to increase cost effectiveness and for customer service. Provides leadership, oversight, and strategic direction for the Guest Services Department to ensure that guest and patient experience enhances the mission, vision, values, and brand promise of Aspirus. Experience/Qualifications

Knowledge of volunteerism and program coordination normally acquired through completion of a four-year college degree in Psychology, Sociology, Education or other appropriate degree. Completion of Certified Administrator of Volunteer Services credential is strongly desired. Two years’ experience in a leadership capacity in related organizations in order to organize, plan, direct and control activities of Volunteer Services and paid employees. Business experience relevant to the management of a voluntary organization. Annual competencies as required by Aspirus and/or various regulatory agencies based on entity and/or job position.
