The Director, Investment Strategy is a vocal and engaged leader on their account overseeing all video initiatives across linear and digital. They are responsible for functions including team leadership, growing client business, partner relations and own the tactical plans that accomplish the video strategy. The goal of the Director is to provide the day-to-day team information they will need to effectively manage their campaigns and deliver successful outcomes. They are a valuable asset as they have the most insight into what is happening below them on the account and what is happening at a higher level on the business. The Director is tasked with understanding the client's business & making recommendations in order to solve for any business challenges.
In terms of management responsibilities, the Director manages the Associate Director and/or Manager on the account, and assists in overseeing all team members within the video practice. The Director should be continually looking for opportunities to advance OMG/enterprise initiatives, streamline workflow and ensure quality assurance, monitoring recurring deliverables & work processes to identify opportunities to save the team time through automation or elimination of redundant work. The Director should also look to interface with senior level resources, including with OMG COE, both internally & externally, to represent the needs of their clients.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years' experience negotiating and activating linear and digital (direct and programmatic) video campaigns Clear understanding of video marketplace dynamics Ability to foster a strong, cohesive working team, providing leadership and instruction Experience negotiating and executing 360 degree custom partnerships Strong overall communication skills with a focus on presentation excellence Track record of leadership, accountability, and strong relationships Responsibilities: Provide thought leadership surrounding the overall video landscape, putting forward POV's including partner recommendations, budget scenarios, activation strategies, etc Accountable for all day to day operations as it pertains to video investment Some leadership of larger, agency-wide negotiations that demand advanced skills, relationships, and marketplace sensibilities Provide the leading voice and knowledge source of ad-supported video (across platforms) within the client team Oversee clear performance metrics and develop associated reports (in collaboration with Marketing Science) to measure KPI's Oversee the analysis of campaign results to optimize learning and ensure continuous improvement Allocates resources, creates, and maintains team dynamics with a focus on learning and innovation Within client relationship, envision ways to enhance service offering and grow the business for OMD Within partner relationship, leverage client spending and agency positioning to derive the clearest advantages for the client from both quantitative and qualitative standpoints

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance benefits.
Compensation Range
$90,000-$215,000 USD
This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in-office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in-office days based on business needs.
