The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this Commercial Operations leader for Structural Interventions is to drive sustainable commercial success by advancing and supporting organization's potential. This group leads the deployment of tools and programs to support sales execution. It also provides quality analytics to support sales performance and customer engagement. Commercial Operations is responsible for launch planning of a new Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) Occlusion product thought to have a potential of $1 billion in sales/year within 2 years. What You’ll Work On Leading the development and execution of comprehensive product launch plans across the three structural interventional franchises (with 3 customer groups) in alignment with revenue growth objectives. The groups include congenital heart disease, Patent Foramen Ovale (PFO) closure and LAA Occlusion. Driving marketing and sales initiatives across the franchises to support revenue growth and profitability objectives. Introducing structural heart portfolio pricing to maximize return on technology investment and product adoption. Devising and introducing product positioning and messaging based on product performance and relevant clinical evidence aligned with customer needs and competitive differentiation. Managing sales enablement training programs to ensure field organization is fully equipped to achieve revenue growth objectives. Leading international, national and regional conference and meeting strategy and implementation with focus on customer engagement and product promotion. Leading customer engagement through support of key opinion leader strategy in creation and execution of advisory boards and other relevant Abbott-led meetings. Launch planning including pricing strategy for a 2027 launch of a new $1B product. Providing analyses and implications of key learnings to be applied in the development of future best practices as related to sales and marketing practices, key performance indicators, selling skills, sales management training. Coordinate LAA Occlusion marketing with EP division and Heart Valve group. Long range planning of LAA occlusion and Structural interventions sales strategy.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study Minimum 12+ years of relevant career experience Minimum 10+ years of experience in medical device industry, with preference for Structural Heart or Electrophysiology background
