: Essential Responsibilities: Scope: The project & program responsibilities are focused on the delivery of a product or computer-based system from design to release for customers. Develop and implement the strategic vision for engineering operational programs. Oversee the planning and execution of engineering programs. Ensure alignment of engineering programs with business goals. Manage and mentor program managers and engineering teams. Monitor program performance and drive continuous improvement. Communicate program status and strategic initiatives to executive leadership. Manage program budgets and financials. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of 15 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Proven ability to manage large, complex engineering programs. Preferred Qualification: You should be a self-starting leader and very familiar / knowledgeable about best practices surrounding product development lifecycle, product release practices, and go-to-market, ideally in payments / fintech. You are adept at instituting new processes and building ways of working that bring teams together to work more efficiently together. You are a uniter, someone who can connect with teams across the organization at all levels, and you are able to differentiate between loose ends that will work themselves out from critical path issues that need to be escalated and address with an executive audience. You are detail-oriented, great at execution, and a strong project manager. You are a positive and effective communicator at all levels. Core Responsibilities: Familiarity with the product development life cycle and knowledgeable about the role of product management, product marketing, commercialization and the requirements to be established prior to engaging operational teams Work closely with Program Management Team and Product teams to manage the handoff from Product to Operational Readiness in a smooth and efficient way Own the product delivery and operational plan for cross-functional teams and lead periodic cross-functional meetings to review status, celebrate successes and highlight / escalate issues Focus on establishing the product readiness function and ensuring components required to support launch are in place and effectively communicated to the necessary teams Able to discern key issues to escalate to executive stakeholders in a concise manner and work to address them by assembling key teams and individuals to troubleshoot or problem solve Monitor and report on status of alpha/beta testing / feedback and potential downstream impacts on timing for Commercial Execution teams Subsidiary: PayPal Travel Percent: 0 - PayPal is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
