Allied Universal® is hiring a Director, Special Operations (CAF). The Director, Special Operations is responsible for executing EFOF exercises in accordance with the NRC Triennial Force on Force Inspection Schedule, as well as recruiting, training, and scheduling the Composite Adversary Force (CAF). These individuals also are responsible for conducting yearly performance evaluations and monthly continual behavioral observations of CAF Team personnel. This position instructs tactical weapons handling and training for CAF members, supervises the team, is responsible for the the tactical and planning operations of EFOF activities as well as provides program administration including lesson plan development, selection, recruitment, and record keeping. The CAF Director employs a systematic approach to training using the elements of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE). This position provides expertise in Close Quarter Battle technique, Mission Planning, Team Movement Techniques, Explosives Effects, Advanced Tactics in both Urban and Rural Terrain, and Terrorism Tactics and Techniques in Accordance with Regulatory and Industry Guidelines and Requirements. This position is also required to complete Adversary Training and Qualification courses to industry adversary teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan and Execute Triennial Force on Force InspectionsSupervise and conduct tactical training for all CAF Team leaders and membersIndependently able to run all training aspects of an Evaluated Force on Force from an adversary perspective for entire CAF in line with both internal and external standard operating procedures and guidelinesEnsure that training lesson plans and materials support regulatory requirements and task needs to support excellent tactical performanceSupervise, observe, and evaluate the learning of students in the Adversary Training Course tactical programProvide training, coaching, and mentoring to all CAF Team membersMaintain training records and documentation to meet regulations and ensure currency of informationMaintain knowledge of regulatory and policy requirements in both security and trainingProvide remedial training as required by policyEnsure a Safety Conscious Work Environment (SCWE) is present and positively reinforcedAssist Team Leaders in developing mission narrative profiles as needed during EFoF Pre-VisitsImplement tactical program corrective actions, that may include changes to requirements, improvements/modifications, or program enhancements, as directedMaintain current knowledge and skills related to tactics, strategy, ordinance, weapons, counterterrorism, and tacticsAble to obtain and maintain proficiency in the mission planning, development, execution, and reporting processes required of a CAF Director (Narratives, Power Point Presentations, Weight Charts, After Action Reviews, Corrective Reports and Accident Reports) QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree or above in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, or Education/Training, or Organizational LeadershipComprehensive knowledge of nuclear regulationsComprehensive knowledge of NEI 05-05, NEI 03-11, NRC Addendum 5Comprehensive knowledge of Physical, Electronic, and Procedural Security StrategiesHigh degree of proficiency in the entire Microsoft Office Suite of toolsFamiliarization of 10 CFR 73 Experience developing curriculum in accordance with SAT format Experience in training administration Prior military experience Prior experience with the development and completion of corrective actions
