Responsible for selling fresh citrus to retail, wholesale and foodservice customers. In addition to collaborating with the senior leadership, varietal sales and marketing, responsible for training and providing direction to account managers. Responsible for the overall sales performance of an assigned group of AM/KAM/Coordinators and their customer base.

Essential Job functions/ Duties:

Represents Sunkist at high level produce industry functions including customer events, trade shows, etc. Makes sales visits on assigned customers to discuss promotional activities, distribute samples of new citrus varieties and packs, inspect products, and to promote Sunkist citrus products Conducts business reviews with customers on a regular basis. Responsible for contacting high level customer VIPs. Plans promotions based on info received from varietal and shippers of the upcoming crops Maintains customer files, emailing and communication with customers regarding invoicing, questions, or pricing. Performs all other duties as required or assigned. Accomplishes department and organization goals by completing related tasks as needed. Regular and timely attendance. Minimum Qualifications (Education, Certifications/Licenses, and Experience: Bachelor Degree in Agriculture, Business, Marketing or a related field or equivalent. Nine years' sales experience in a sales environment or work experience related to fresh fruit sales and marketing at a level and of a duration that will enable the employee to carry out the duties of the position, with progressive responsibility. Ability to learn and understand produce market conditions. Skilled at negotiation and highly adept at using persuasion skills to sell product. Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with internal and external customers. Skilled at thinking creatively or "outside the box." The ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within standard accepted practices. Ability to perform basic math, including calculations using fractions, percent's and/or ratios. Strong computer skills: must be proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel and Outlook; ability to operate standard office equipment. Free to travel away from home for periods not to exceed 10 days at any one time. Ability to cultivate and maintain effective working relationships. Must be detail oriented; work in a fast-paced environment with high ability to multitask. Skilled at adapting to changing priorities, work environments, management styles and business trends. Ability to acquire and apply new knowledge or skills for work and recognize own strengths and weaknesses. Must be willing and able to lift cartons of citrus approximately 45lbs.
