THE ROLE As the Director, Retail you will lead the team to :
Sell clothes, deliver world-class experiences, and build loyal client relationships
Create an optimal balance of sales and service by having the right people, in the right place at the right time
Seamlessly own or escalate the invisible details that enable an exceptional shopping experience
Work with the appropriate Business Support partners to seamlessly lead the day-to-day function of the department in support of corporate objectives, while enabling progressive career development and an incredible employee experience.
THE QUALITIFICATIONS The Director, Retail has :
Proven and best-in-class skills, education, and / or applicable certifications
A commitment to learn, apply, champion, and enrich Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principles
The skills to collaborate strategically with cross-functional partners in the pursuit of shared business outcomes
The ability to set clear objectives and design a strategy that inspires the team
The skills and / or education that are an asset to perform in the role and the commitment to continuously learn and develop oneself and inspire growth in others
A dedication to quality and investing in results and new business opportunities that add value
A deep understanding and commitment for the industry in which we operate
A great sense of style, representing Aritzia’s brand, aesthetic and style fundamentals while setting trends and influencing culture
THE COMPENSATION The typical hiring range for this position is $150,000-250,000 USD per year. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Additionally, this position may be eligible for bonus.
