The primary mission of the Director Marketing is to develop and drive profitable sales growth through the execution of the NA Regional marketing & product marketing plans. Responsibilities include the development and execution of regional market strategies, product life cycle management, new product development plans, and pipeline commercialization plans. This is how your journey begins: Define and implement the overall market strategy for the region – 5 yr horizon. Lead Product Life Cycle management process for NA product lines. Partner with Sales to drive new pipeline opportunities for growth. Define and progress the stock product portfolio and line extension developments. Partner with and support the Global Business Development Managers. Gather and analyze local market intelligence through consumer studies. Lead commercial marketing activities for new product introductions. Develop and implement marketing materials and sales tools. Authority: Full ownership of Regional Portfolio Strategy. 5 Yr plan & Strategy with Regional Key stakeholders. Ability to influence key market and customer needs. Ability to travel 20%+ to support objectives when needed. Required Qualifications: Education Required: Bachelor’s degree – business, marketing MBA preferred Experience 15+ years in marketing and broad business leadership role. Managed direct team of reports. Product line portfolio management 5+ yrs. Packaging industry experienced preferred. Skills Ability to establish strategy while managing key needs of the business. Strong communication skills to manage a matrix organization. Extremely detail-oriented and organized. Ability to manage a remote team of reports and stakeholders.
