Description The Director, Regional Client Solutions is a full-time field-based leadership position.  The Regional Sales Director is responsible for new business development, client on boarding experience, auction relationships, and increasing loan volume from inactive dealers in assigned sales territory. A NGC Regional Sales Director must be a Challenger Sales Leader with a deep knowledge of all facets of the auto industry with a specific emphasis on the Independent Dealer. Primary Duties/Key Responsibilities Drive sales and volume to meet NextGear’s performance metrics for all current and future products and services within a defined territory.  Specific focus on new business opportunities (activations) and new loan volume.
Set a high standard for sales team’s client experience. Own the field closing process and NextGear Capital on Boarding Experience to ensure clients are engaged and will utilize line of credit.
Assist in the development and training of all NextGear Team Members in product knowledge and Challenger Sales Methodology.
Develop Top Down Relationships in assigned NAAA Auctions and Manheim Locations. Ensure NGC Brand is present and top of mind in assigned auctions. Meet floor plan volume increase goals.
Maintain strong working relationships with Operation’s Regional Directors.  Partner to ensure warm and successful client hand off.
Develop strategy for driving new loan volume from assigned inactive dealers.
Work with VP of Sales to create promotional, contest, and incentive to increase volume in assigned Sales Territory.
Conduct in person visits with Sales Executives provide post visit coaching.
Partner with CAI Solutions Units to train Sales Teams on CAI products and services.
Actively engage in the recruiting and hiring process for SEs
Ensure a positive and supportive hiring and on boarding process for new Sales Executive
Provide monthly coaching to Sales Executives focused on Challenger sales skills.
Use Speed Check to Calibrate Performance Quarterly and set Personal Goals for following Quarter.
Invest in, develop, and recognize top performers.
Set high standards for results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
Target 100% Employee Satisfaction on Pulse and GPS Surveys with special focus on communication and fairness.
Required Experience & Specialized Knowledge and Skills BA/BS degree required + 10 or more years of relevant work experience required in related field
OR MS degree + 8 years of experience
OR Ph.D. degree + 5 years of experience
OR 14 + years of experience with no degree
10+ Years of experience in sales team leadership, business operations team leadership and/or client performance management team leadership relations
5+ Years of current experience in a manager, director, or similar leadership role with direct reports, preferably managing multiple small teams.
The ability to build strong internal and external relationships
Commercial lending, floor plan industry experience
Track record of successfully negotiating client contractual agreements, acting as the pivot between the legal, business owner and client.
Keen knowledge of SalesForce.com – navigate, report generation, data mining.
Highly motivated, self-driven leader who thrives on delivering results
Demonstrable background in working in and with large teams across multiple business units
Proven ability to effectively influence at all levels and across different backgrounds
Must possess effective communications skills both verbally and in written form
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects

Travel 70% or more is required
