Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Thought Partnership Own and manage the enterprise project roadmap in alignment with organizational goals. Provide strategic insight and thought leadership to senior executives on project feasibility, capacity planning, and delivery risk. Champion a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the PMO.
Project Delivery and Ownership Oversee the execution of a diverse portfolio of projects and programs across departments Directly manageplex or high-impact projects as needed to ensure successful delivery and model best practices. Own and drive alignment on requirements, scope, and timelines ensuring all stakeholders have a shared understanding of project goals and constraints.
Cross-Functional Liaison Serve as the key liaison between business and technology teams, translating business needs into actionable project plans and technical solutions. Proactively manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate productive, transparentmunication across all levels. Ensure timely resolution of conflicts, risks, and issues that may impact project success.
Prioritization &ernance Lead the project intake, assessment, and prioritization process to ensure strategic alignment and optimal resource allocation. Establish and maintain projecternance standards, approval workflows, and escalation procedures. Guide stakeholders in evaluating tradeoffs, managingpeting priorities, and making informed decisions
Team Leadership & Development Lead, coach, and mentor a team of project and program managers to high levels of performance and accountability. Foster a collaborative, empowered team culture focused on delivery excellence and professional growth. Conduct resource planning and capacity analysis to support organizational demands.
Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement Introduce, maintain, and refine Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies as appropriate. Drive ongoing improvements in project delivery effectiveness, resource planning, and team collaboration. Leverage tools like Smartsheet, Azure DevOps and ServiceNow to enable transparency and efficiency in reporting and execution.
Qualifications and Education Requirements 10+ years of experience in project/program management with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role. 10+ years Industry experience in Mortgage Origination and/ or Servicing Proven ability to manage project portfolios and lead prioritization efforts across departments. Strong background serving as a strategic liaison between business and technology teams. Exceptionalmunication, influence, and stakeholder management skills. Deep knowledge of project delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) and project management tools.
Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. PMP, SAFe, or Agile certification. Experience implementing or scaling a Project Management Office orernance model.
