The Director, Product Management provides management and leadership for product team resources. At ResMan we believe that great software starts with great product management. Industry experience in multifamily property management software and services is a plus. The ideal candidates will have a strong product management background, proven innovation skills, the ability to be a catalyst for change in a matrixed environment, management experience and experience with B2B and B2C products. The Director, Product Management designs and implements the product roadmap that addresses market demands and surpasses the relevant competition to achieve long-term financial goals for the organization. What You’ll Do (Functions & Responsibilities) Provide leadership and direct supervision of product team resources. Foster a positive team culture and oversee team development, including hiring, onboarding, and coaching of team members. Ensure that products achieve their targeted revenue and usage goals. Gather, analyze, and prioritize inputs from product analytics, financial data, customers, industry resources, and internal stakeholders into justifiable product requirements that will drive our product vision. Own product roadmaps and prioritize development based on business and customer impact. Gain a deep understanding of the customer (including customer segments and user personas). Work closely with software engineering teams to ensure accurate forecasting and efficient allocation of resources. Drive and communicate competitive assessment on your product and collaborate with the sales channel to identify and address broad industry and product trends. Partner with Sales, Marketing and BizOps to plan and execute Go-To-Market (GTM) efforts including pricing, positioning strategies, collateral, sales tools, presentations, demos, and competitive battlecards. Qualifications
What We're Looking For (Minimum qualifications) 5+ years of SaaS product management experience, including product ownership. Passionate about product management and user experience. Extensive Product Management expertise, including product analytics, market trends/analysis, new product GTM process, product roadmap development, and product life-cycle management. Strong experience working within a SCRUM Agile environment. Exceptional communication skills - written, verbal and presentation. Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional and matrixed teams. Demonstrated ability to lead, work independently, and take initiative. Strong project management skills, attention to detail, and accountability. Experience working in a fast paced, high growth environment. Proactive and creative problem-solving skills. Experience with or willingness to learn tools, such as advanced data tools ( SQL, Tableau), product analytics tools ( Google Analytics, Pendo), higher-fidelity prototyping tools ( Figma), product management/road mapping tools ( JIRA, Aha!), key cross-functional databases ( Salesforce, Asana). Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field Type Salaried, Exempt, Full-Time Location/Travel Plano, TX (Hybrid) Ability to travel up to 20%.
