The Privacy Program Enablement Associate will be an integral part of the team supporting the roadmap and development for this new Global Privacy Center of Excellence, facilitating the program’s scope, processes, and deliverables, promoting awareness, collaboration, and engagement, and helping identify and manage risk.

The Privacy Program Enablement Associate will be an integral part of the team supporting the roadmap and development for this new Global Privacy Center of Excellence, facilitating the program’s scope, processes, and deliverables, promoting awareness, collaboration, and engagement, and helping identify and manage risk.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a global privacy risk assessment framework aligned with regulatory requirements, organizational appetite, and industry best practices.
Lead the privacy risk assessment program across global organization to proactively identify, assess, and manage risk across enterprise-wide
Implement procedures, guidance for conducting privacy risk assessments for first line teams
Identify best practices for assessing and monitoring privacy risk to drive enterprise continuity across different markets, regions and business units
Provide first line governance and advisory of risk assessment activities across first line teams to support consistent and effective risk assessments across enterprise.
Define and report key risk and performance indicators for privacy risk assessment activities.
Enhance user guidance for privacy risk, including control guidance, and training for business stakeholders
Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Enterprise Data Management and Third-Party Lifecycle management teams to integrate privacy risk activities across existing processes and tools
Serve as the subject matter expert for identifying, documenting, and assessing privacy risk and effective controls
Establish and socialize guidance document changes, as well as mapping changes to internal and external regulatory key milestones
Lead requirement activities for PRA tooling and processes
Qualifications:
A strong strategic approach with 8+ years prior experience including process improvement in privacy risk
Strong knowledge of and experience in enhancing and uplifting privacy-related processes across an Enterprise or local level for a financial services company
Proven track record of driving results in a fast-paced environment often with significant ambiguity and needing to make decisions with less than perfect information.
Track record of being able to be a subject matter expert and using enterprise-thinking to quickly identify areas of improvement
High degree of organization, individual initiative and personal accountability, and resiliency.
Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to lead, engage, influence, and encourage partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment.
Proven ability to manage multiple demands successfully within a matrixed organization.
Track record of creating and leading strong cross-functional teams
Enjoys solving large and complicated problems.
Ability to maintain a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude
