Schedule:  Full Time Shift : Days Location: 602 COURTLAND ST, Orlando, 32804 The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Orlando Located on a lush tropical campus, our flagship hospital, 1,368-bed AdventHealth Orlando Serves as the major tertiary facility for much of the Southeast, the Caribbean and South America AdventHealth Orlando houses one of the largest Emergency Departments and largest cardiac catheterization labs in the country We are already one of the busiest hospitals in the nation, providing service excellence to more than 32,000 inpatients and 125,000 outpatients each year The role you’ll contribute: The Performance Improvement Director provides strategic direction and oversight to the Process Improvement and Project Management functions across AdventHealth. Leads the development and execution of the portfolio of system-wide performance improvement projects, engaging with executive leadership at all levels. Ensures an effective program of training and competency-evaluation exists to enable performance improvement capabilities within markets and other corporate services functions. Oversees the development and ongoing deployment of performance measurement & analysis resources. The Director must effectively plan resources to deliver a balanced portfolio of quality improvement aligned with the strategic agenda of AdventHealth. The value you’ll bring to the team: Serves as the organization-wide content expert on process improvement methods and imparts relevant details to senior leaders and staff. Continually expands/updates this knowledge.
Leads the development of a performance improvement culture and competence across the enterprise, including application of process improvement methodologies, change management, and formal project management
Ensures senior executive visibility and engagement in the portfolio of performance improvement projects, including the scoping, selection, resourcing, execution, monitoring, and closure of all projects in the PI portfolio
Develops strategic plan for Performance Improvement across the enterprise, using an assessment of the latest performance improvement practices and competitive environment
