Join Takeda as a Director of Patient and Market Access Enterprise Strategy out of our Lexington, MA office. Where you will develop and direct US market access strategy to inform product development and business development decisions that enable patients to sustainably gain access to Takeda’s existing and future products. You will also implement and manage multi-year strategic enterprise plan with strong PAMA LT alignment. You will also work cross-functionally to collaborate on foundational access insights, commercial
evaluations, forecast assumptions, evidence plans, clinical development decisions, value messages, and USBU enterprise-strategies for in-line and pipeline products.
How you will contribute:
Partner with US New Product Planning and Business Development functions to inform US market access strategies, forecast assumptions and scenarios, and product development/acquisition decisions for early-stage/targeted assets.
Develop methods and processes to identify key internal and external trends for PAMA to improve Takeda’s understanding of risks and opportunities and drive alignment on applicable actions and capabilities.
Closely collaborate with other PAMA teams, US New Product Planning, and Global Patient Access, regularly collaborate with Medical, R&D, HEOR, Global Marketing, Finance, Analytics, Forecasting and Policy teams.
Anticipate how access customers think and incorporate into PAMA insight development.
Identify opportunities for synergy and innovation.
Ensure effective budget planning and secure resources to enable planned strategy-related projects can be conducted effectively.
Bring along project teams and other key stakeholders throughout work streams, with communication on progress and issues, regular iteration, thoughtful synthesis of input, and alignment on recommendations.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required, Graduate degree or advanced training in business, pharmacy, or related field preferred.
10 + years of experience in biopharma market access (across payer, PBM, IDN, GPO, Specialty Pharmacy, etc required.
5+ years of patient services experience in specialty and rare disease products preferred
Experience with biologics and specialty products preferred
Launch experience preferred
Deep knowledge of HUB models, patient services, distribution models, and market access/reimbursement landscape
Strong understanding of commercial aspects of the business including brand
management, market access, patient advocacy, regulatory environments, and
reimbursement challenges.
Travel requirement 10-15%, with the ability and willingness to travel to various meetings and client sites, including overnight trips.

Lexington, MA U.S. Base Salary Range:
$174,500.00 - $274,230.00 The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-termincentives.
