Job Summary:
Maintains direct responsibility for operational and strategic leadership to plan, organize, direct and evaluate patient access functions. Develops, deploys and drives change management strategies for patient access. Provides input and decision-making regarding redesign or optimization within patient access processes. Develops and oversees department efficiency in meeting goals and implements plans for improvement.
Job Requirements: Education and Work Experience: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required Master's Degree: Preferred Seven years' related experience: Preferred Five years' leadership experience: Preferred Essential Functions: Coaches employees to correct processes both individually and during monthly area meetings. Educates staff on existing and updated protocols for hospital/clinic services. Provides statistics to management on registration errors to assure integrity of data and education of staff, as needed. Responsible for tracking, trending, and reporting vendor management outcomes as it relates to patient access. Controls planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expense priorities and recommending and implementing changes to methods. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
