About The Job As the Director of Partnership Engineering you will serve as the leader on the Android Auto team and be responsible for delivering all partner programs with OEMs, resolving escalations, and working with executives of all our partners—as well as internal stakeholders—to achieve a positive business outcome, managing a team of Technical Solution Consultants, Program Managers, and Engineers to improve efficiency and operations of the Partner Engineering organization and to ensure we achieve scale and quality across all our programs.

Responsibilities Support the Business Development team in growing the business and achieving strategic business goals.
Improve efficiency and operations of the Partner Engineering organization to ensure we achieve scale and quality across our programs.
Mentor, coach, and grow leaders within the organization.
Define and deliver strategy for high quality, compatible, updateable in-vehicle infotainment systems running Android.
Qualifications Minimum qualifications 15 years of experience managing technical teams, and setting technical roadmap and direction.
10 years of experience in a leadership role interfacing with senior executives.
Experience leading a team that has shipped an Android consumer product, or contributed technically to that product.
Preferred qualifications Automotive industry experience defining or delivering an In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) system or IVI component.
Technical knowledge of Android or other OS used in the automotive industry.
Compensation The US base salary range for this full-time position is $269,000-$378,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
