* Looking for Director Database Engineering for fulltime role with our financial client.
* Bachelor's degree preferred with Masters or equivalent experience * Minimum of 10 years of experience in database engineering, delivery, and support, with a focus on Oracle database technologies. * Proven experience working with Oracle databases hosted in private and public cloud environments. * *Financial industry experience.* * Hands-on expertise in automation and orchestration tools like Terraform, Ansible, and GitLab. * Experience in private cloud to public cloud platforms. * Strong people leadership and team-building skills.
*Technical Skills:*
* Deep technical understanding of Oracle database solutions. * Familiarity with designing and implementing self-service database solutions. * Understanding of cloud database reliability and security practices.
*Leadership & Compliance:*
* Experience leading engineering teams and aligning their goals with organizational modernization efforts. * Strong knowledge and involvement in audit and regulatory reviews related to cloud databases.
*Methodologies & Collaboration:*
* Experience working with the Agile methodology. * Ability to foster cross-team collaboration and create partnerships to achieve organizational goals.
*Strategy & Innovation:*
* Passion for building innovative and automated database solutions. * Experience with creating transparency between technical and business teams.
*Additional Information:*
