We are currently building the next stage of our organization and seek a versatile and driven Director of Operations to help us execute and scale across all functions.The Role: Strategic & Operational LeadershipAs the Director of Operations, you will serve as a critical right-hand to the COO, driving operational excellence, strategic execution, and cross-functional alignment across the company. You'll work behind the scenes to help leadership focus on the most important priorities, while ensuring the business is executing smoothly and efficiently.You are a systems thinker, trusted collaborator, and calm operator who thrives in a fast-moving environment. You are a strategic partner who sees around corners, connects dots across teams, and ensures nothing important falls through the cracks. The ideal candidate has experience scaling business operations in a tech-forward environment and has led or influenced people strategy and organizational development initiatives. At Regrid we value non-traditional paths and recognize that varied life and career experiences often lead to the strongest operational and strategic insights.Key ResponsibilitiesYou will own and drive company effectiveness across three core pillars:1. Strategic Execution & Executive EnablementDrive Organizational Cadence: Own and execute the entire operating rhythm of the company, including planning cycles (quarterly OKRs), leadership meetings, and decision-tracking processes.Strategic Advising: Serve as a thought partner to the COO and CEO, translating strategic vision into clear operational plans and providing insights on risk areas and key metrics.Cross-Functional Delivery: Lead high-priority, cross-functional projects and change management initiatives, ensuring clarity, accountability, and timely delivery across all departments.2. Business & Revenue OperationsOperational Scalability: Design, implement, and continuously improve scalable processes and frameworks that support the company's growth, efficiency, and execution bias.GTM Systems & Operations: Oversee critical operational systems (CRM, tooling, revenue operations) and manage vendor relationships to ensure optimal revenue generation and administrative efficiency.Problem-Solving: Proactively tackle complex operational challenges to help Regrid meet company-wide goals, with a focus on quick execution and measurable results.3. People Strategy & Organizational HealthCulture and Alignment: Set and execute the people strategy, ensuring the team structure (org design/headcount planning) and internal norms promote a healthy, values-aligned, and inclusive culture.Talent Development: Own the processes that improve leadership effectiveness, internal mobility, and employee experience, including the strategic direction of recruiting, onboarding, and continuous development programs.Org Efficiency: Identify structural inefficiencies and propose data-driven solutions to optimize team performance and collaboration models as the organization scales.What We're Looking ForQualifications5 - 8+ years of progressive experience in business operations, strategy, or executive-level support roles, ideally in a high-growth tech environment.Proven ability to drive large, cross-functional initiatives with minimal oversight.Demonstrated expertise in strategic operations, talent management, organizational development, and scaling company processes.Experience working closely with executive leadership, ideally COO or CEO-level partners.Willingness to travel a few times yearly for team offsites, events, and gatherings.Prior experience in the geospatial industry is a nice to have.CompetenciesHigh Emotional Intelligence and Leadership Presence: Strong communication and influence skillsable to build trust across stakeholders at all levels.Strategic Thinking and Operational Rigor: Highly organized and systems-oriented with a bias toward clarity and execution.Business Judgment and Analytical Thinking: Deep understanding of business operations and organizational effectiveness.Adaptability: Comfortable navigating ambiguity, making decisions, and managing up/down/across.Project & Change Management: Exceptional skills in leading high-priority, complex initiatives and driving continuous improvement.How We WorkA couple of things you should know about us:First, we are pretty obsessed with parcels and parcel data (the lines that define property boundaries).
