Position Title: Director, Operations Finance

Currently no common analytical platform. Need a forward-thinking, proactive business leader to drive operational improvements in the business.

Opportunity Statement:

The Director of Operations Finance will have the opportunity to drive change in partnership with manufacturing and supply chain leaders. In this position, you will serve as the go to analytical power that will bridge the business strategy with Finance. This role will deep dive into capital spend and project analytics and utilize strong analytical skills to bring recommendations to business leaders.

Position Summary:

Vantage is seeking a highly motivated Director of Operations Finance to support our manufacturing and supply chain. The Director will bring strong analytical skills to provide insights to business leaders that will support driving business decisions. The ideal candidate will have strong financial modeling skills, strategic thinking, and excellent communication abilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

List the key responsibilities for this role. Lead financial planning, forecasting, and analysis for manufacturing, supply chain, and capital investments.

Partner with operations to identify and execute cost-saving initiatives.

Analyze cost structures and recommend strategies to reduce waste and improve margins.

Drive continuous improvement in standard costing, inventory valuation, and overhead absorption.

Evaluate capital expenditure proposals and ensure alignment with ROI thresholds.

Monitor capital project performance and post-investment reviews.

Optimize asset utilization and working capital efficiency.

Collaborate with operations leaders to improve labor productivity, throughput, and capacity utilization.

Support lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and automation initiatives with financial modeling and impact analysis.

Lead benchmarking and performance diagnostics across plants and regions.

Education & Experience:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, Engineering or related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Experience: 15 years of accounting and analytical experience.

Knowledge, Skills, & Talents:

Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.

Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Experience in financial planning and analysis.

Ability to work well as part of a team and lead cross-functional projects.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Pay and Benefits

The estimated base pay range for this position is:  $168,000 - $252,000 annually.  Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, qualifications, skills and geographic location.  This position is eligible to participate in a short-term incentive program.
