Summary
: The Director of Ticketing is responsible for the overall operation, supervision, and fiscal management of the First National Bank Arena’s Box Office. This role oversees ticket sales, personnel, and customer service, ensuring smooth daily operations and a positive patron experience. The position works under the direct supervision of the Arena Director and manages all ticketing operations using Ticketmaster as the primary ticketing platform.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Hire, train, schedule, and supervise all full-time, part-time, and student employees for both office and event-related work.
Review and approve timesheets for all Box Office staff.
Develop and implement procedures for ticket order processing, season ticket upgrades, and distribution of complimentary tickets.
Oversee database management for ticketing records and patron information.
Create events for sale in-house and online through Ticketmaster, including season ticket packages and individual events.
Promote and maintain positive customer relations, setting a leadership example for staff.
Address and resolve patron ticketing issues during events.
Work with promoters, athletic department staff, and visiting institutions to coordinate manifests, pricing, complimentary ticket allocations, and consignment tickets.
Design custom seating charts in Ticketmaster and collaborate with the Ticketmaster map design team.
Monitor and troubleshoot box office computers, printers, and the Ticketmaster online ticketing system.
Coordinate marketing initiatives and seasonal ticket renewal campaigns with the athletic department.
Develop specifications for all ticket printing projects.
Work with awarded vendors to ensure deadlines are met.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
In-depth understanding of box office operations and Ticketmaster ticketing systems.
Proficiency in basic computer applications.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to adapt to last-minute changes.
Proven leadership and supervisory abilities.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to prepare and present reports.
General Days/Hours:
Primarily Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Requires availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedule.

Minimum Qualifications:
An earned Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Management, Accounting, or a related business field.
Five (5) years of business experience, including at least two (2) years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Other job-related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or parts of these basic requirements upon approval of the qualifications review committee
