What This Role Is All About The Director of Teen Program Quality & Support leads the effort to ensure every Boys & Girls Club in Skagit County delivers exceptional, consistent programming for teens. You'll build the systems, training, and coaching that empower staff to make every program engaging and impactful - from academic success and leadership development to workforce readiness and healthy lifestyles. Your days will be full of collaboration. You'll work closely with site leaders and teen staff to strengthen program design, provide constructive feedback, and support continuous improvement. You'll help bring national Boys & Girls Clubs programs , such as Keystone Club , Career Launch , and Diplomas to Degrees, to life in ways that connect with local teens and communities. At the same time, you'll play a big-picture role, aligning teen initiatives across sites, ensuring compliance and safety, and helping us evaluate progress using tools like the Youth Program Quality Assessment (YPQA). Most importantly, you'll inspire a culture of curiosity, respect, and growth that helps both staff and teens succeed. Who You Are You're an experienced leader who's as comfortable setting strategy as you are rolling up your sleeves to coach staff or engage with teens directly. You understand adolescent development and know how to design programs that resonate with teens' interests and strengths. You're also a natural communicator - someone who listens deeply, collaborates easily, and isn't afraid to bring new ideas to the table. You thrive in a role where every day presents new challenges and has a meaningful impact. We'd love to meet you if you have: A bachelor's degree in Education, Social Sciences, Youth Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
At least five years of supervisory experience working with youth or teen programs.
A strong understanding of youth engagement and program development.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Bonus points if you're bilingual (Spanish/English) or have experience using YPQA tools and developing community partnerships.
