Location: District-wide DIRECTOR OF TECHNOLOGY
GENERAL DESCRIPTION This district leadership role includes responsibility for all aspects of the Winchester Public Schools' technology. The ideal candidate will be able to be a district leader, a network manager, and also a technician.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. Management, administration, and security of core systems and networks Management of staff and student user accounts, rights, and credentials (GSuite for Education, Clever) Management of contracted services and products (i.e. Fortinet, Crowdstrike, Knowbe4, VMWare, Windows 11, Mac OS, Chrome OS, Android, Moslye) Management and maintenance of phones, copiers, printers, cameras Management, maintenance of all district devices Provide records for FOI requests Prepare a departmental budget Provide technical assistance at once monthly Board of Education meetings and budget hearings Be a key member of the District Leadership Team
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in Technology, Information Technology OR equivalent experience in Network Administration Experience as either a network administrator or similar role, in an educational setting Must be able to stand for long periods of time and move around flexibly for installing hardware Must be able to lift 50+ lbs Must be a strong communicator
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT 12 Month Position Salary based on qualifications and ability to fulfill all aspects of the role. Generous benefits package
