As Director of Technical Operations, you will lead strategic, cross-functional projects aimed at driving operational efficiency, innovation, and growth. Reporting to the COO, you’ll oversee major initiatives like the rollout of a customer portal and the migration of core business systems to a unified platform. This role demands a blend of technical architecture knowledge, project management acumen, and operational leadership. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams and stakeholders to optimize processes, manage development teams, and implement transformative technologies such as AI — ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and aligned with business goals. Accountabilities: Lead the execution of strategic, cross-departmental projects including AI and automation initiatives that streamline operations and deliver measurable results. Manage software development projects across their lifecycle, from architecture to implementation, including CRM and project management system migrations. Oversee and mentor a development team, ensuring adherence to scalable development frameworks and methodologies. Develop operational strategies, quarterly and annual plans, and scalable processes to improve efficiency and reduce bottlenecks. Partner with the COO and other senior leaders to align technical strategy with business objectives and provide data-driven recommendations. Analyze KPIs related to cost savings, ROI, and efficiency using tools such as Power BI or Tableau and present actionable insights to leadership. Act as a liaison between operations and business units, promoting visibility, accountability, and seamless collaboration across teams. Foster a high-performing team culture focused on service excellence, responsiveness, and continuous improvement. Requirements Minimum 7 years in operations, technical development, or project management, including at least 3 years in a leadership role. Proven track record in managing complex, high-impact projects with cross-functional teams and measurable business outcomes. Experience with AI and automation tools to drive innovation. Strong command of data visualization and BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau). Experience managing CRM implementations, with preference for Creatio. Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and PMP-certified project methodologies. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across all levels. Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, or a technology-related field. Highly adaptable, results-oriented, and capable of navigating matrixed environments with competing priorities.
