Title : Director of Strategic Marketing & Product Development
Location: Full-time position in the office, based near Ho-Ho-Kus NJ. 1 flexible work from home day a week.
Company: Largest publicly held, nationwide reclaimer and recycler of refrigerant chemicals in North America.
Responsibilities :
The Marketing Director is a leadership role responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive overall brand growth within the market strategies, brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth. This role also involves close collaboration with sales, product management, and executive leadership to ensure alignment with overall business goals.
Marketing Leadership: Develop and lead the overall marketing strategy for the company’s, communications initiatives, product, and multi-channel services portfolio
Customer Journey Optimization: Define and optimize the customer journey ensuring seamless flow and enhancing cross-product and service engagement
Utilize customer insights and data to inform product and service positioning, messaging, and targeting
Market Positioning: Lead the positioning of product & service offerings in the market, ensuring that each resonates with its target audience and stands out in a competitive landscape
Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends and competitive landscape
Client Engagement: Act as a client-facing leader, working closely with sales teams to understand client needs and refine product and service messaging accordingly
Data-Driven Strategy: Utilize market research, customer feedback, and competitive analysis to inform marketing strategies and decisions
Content Strategy: Oversee the creation of compelling content that communicates the value of products and service, including thought leadership pieces, marketing collateral, and customer education materials
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams including Sales,
Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and excellence.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree as a minimum in marketing, STEM field or MBA preferred.
10+ years in industrial product marketing
Strong understanding of GTM strategies and competitive product positioning
Proven track record in innovative marketing solutions and campaign management
Expert in client presentations and content creation
Proficient with CRM systems – D365 preferred
Experience in digital marketing
Technologies: Fluent in Microsoft Office, SEO, project management software
Ability to work from corporate office
Ability to travel up to 25% as needed for the business
Compensation :
Base salary 180k-215k depending on experience + 15% performance bonus and full employee benefits.
