Director, Sourcing Management

Position Overview Lead sourcing and procurement operations for semiconductor packaging and assembly, driving cost optimization and supplier relationship management across global supply chains. Must be either US Citizen -or- Green Card Holder

Key Responsibilities

Manage comprehensive sourcing strategies for direct and indirect procurement activities Develop and execute sourcing plans for OSAT operations, including assembly houses, lead frame manufacturers, mold compound suppliers, and tooling vendors Lead contract negotiations with assembly and packaging suppliers to meet aggressive cost reduction targets Collaborate with process integration engineers and supplier technical teams on value engineering initiatives to drive sustainable cost improvements Build and maintain detailed cost modeling databases covering fabrication, test, logistics, and warehousing expenses Support product definition teams in developing financial models for new product introductions Partner with new product introduction teams for supplier identification, qualification, design rule validation, and request-for-quote processes Oversee administrative functions related to sourcing operations Plan and facilitate quarterly business reviews with fabrication and assembly partners Required Qualifications Extensive background in semiconductor package design and assembly processes Proven ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and executive teams Demonstrated success conducting business operations across Asia-Pacific markets Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities Exceptional negotiation skills with measurable cost savings achievements Strategic business acumen with deep understanding of semiconductor supply chains Must be either US Citizen -or- Green Card Holder Education Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering Advanced business degree (MBA) or professional procurement certifications preferred
