Join our dynamic team as the Director of Sourcing and take the helm of our Americas supply chain strategy! You'll be the mastermind behind 50% of our total Americas acquisition costs, orchestrating a complex network of packagers, blenders, and chemical suppliers across the USMCA region. This isn't your typical sourcing role - you'll be part supply chain strategist, part relationship builder, and part financial wizard, all while leading a team that keeps our business moving forward. Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Team Development
Lead with Purpose: Champion servant leadership while developing a small, high-performing team that embodies our company values Talent Development: Create experiential learning opportunities and growth plans that unlock your team's potential Strategic Vision: Develop 3-5 year strategies that optimize costs, improve processes, and leverage cutting-edge technology solutions Sourcing Excellence
Strategic Sourcing: Lead comprehensive sourcing processes for our Americas packager/blender network and chemical spend
Market Intelligence: Conduct deep-dive analysis of raw materials, commodities, and supplier markets to identify opportunities
Supplier Discovery: Utilize RFI/RFP/RFQ frameworks to identify best-in-class suppliers that align with our values and deliver exceptional results
Smart Negotiations: Balance multiple criteria including financial stability, quality, service, cost, and cultural fit
Supplier Relationship Management
Partnership Building: Implement comprehensive SRM programs that align supplier performance with our strategic goals
Contract Management: Lead negotiations and manage contracts with critical packagers, blenders, and chemical suppliers
Performance Optimization: Drive continuous improvement initiatives that deliver cost efficiencies and operational excellence
Global Collaboration: Support sourcing strategy development across our Global Supply Chain, EIMEA, and Asia Pac regions
Business Continuity & Risk Management
Risk Mitigation: Develop and maintain actionable business continuity plans that ensure uninterrupted supply
Strategic Planning: Provide leadership in functional risk management, from design to implementation
Crisis Leadership: Navigate supply chain challenges while maintaining desired service levels
Financial Management & Forecasting
Budget Leadership: Develop cost of goods budgeting and forecasting strategies for acquisition costs
Cost Modeling: Create detailed cost models that provide transparency and accuracy for both market-based and contractual changes
Strategic Cost Management: Lead initiatives that improve resource allocation and drive EBITDA goals
Qualifications
Experience & Education
10+ years of supply chain sourcing experience with chemicals, components, and co-manufacturing services
10+ years in manufacturing and manufacturing leadership roles
10+ years leading sourcing in outsourced manufacturing environments
10+ years of strategic domestic and global sourcing experience
Proven track record in supplier relationship management and sourcing financial management
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or finance (coursework in chemistry, biology, engineering, or packaging is a bonus)
Essential Skills
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
Strategic thinking with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans
Negotiation expertise with complex, multi-stakeholder agreements
Financial acumen for cost modeling, budgeting, and P&L impact analysis
Leadership excellence with experience developing high-performing teams
Cultural intelligence for working across diverse markets and regions
