Director of Shelter Care Services The Childrens Home Society has an opening for a Director of Shelter Care Services . The responsibilities include but are not limited to: Providing oversight and assistance to the Regional Directors/Site Managers of the Societys eight Emergency Child Shelters. Providing guidance and policy support to Directors of Programming. Assisting site managers with facilities management. Oversight and assistance with waiver requests, transfers, IIU reports, and overall functioning of the emergency child shelter program with regular visits to the facilities located statewide. Candidates for the position must have: A valid social work license. A BSW or a Bachelors Degree in a related field with 5 years of management and supervision experience, or An MSW or Masters Degree in a related field with relevant experience. Additional requirements include: Valid drivers license. Automobile insurance. Acceptable CIB, FBI, and Child Abuse/Neglect background checks.
