Salary Range: $150-$175k base (flexible/based on experience) + commission/bonus, OTE $250-$300k+
Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales to revamp, energize, and lead our sales team. This high-powered leader will be responsible for refocusing departmental efforts, identifying untapped markets, and implementing strategic plans to increase revenue, market share, and brand visibility. The ideal candidate is an innovative thinker who can manage teams, build relationships with key clients, and use data-driven insights to optimize performance and resource allocation.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution
Develop and implement strategies to grow sales in assigned territories aligned with company goals
Identify new markets and create market penetration plans with measurable objectives
Define and execute territory sales plans to drive business growth
Use data and key metrics to track performance and make informed decisions
Team Leadership & Development
Manage, train, and support the sales team to maximize performance
Reinvigorate and re-focus existing staff through coaching and leadership
Establish clear sales targets, quotas, and accountability standards
Equip team with modern tools, techniques, and product knowledge
Client & Partner Relationships
Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and business partners
Serve as the face of the organization with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders
Collaborate with marketing and advertising partners to enhance brand recognition
Sales Operations & Reporting
Oversee all regional and local sales activities, promotions, and events
Prepare sales budgets, forecasts, and control expenditures
Analyze market trends and customer feedback to inform product development
Provide timely and accurate sales reports and insights to ownership
Marketing & Merchandising
Lead merchandising and marketing efforts in coordination with internal and external teams
Use market research to anticipate customer needs and guide product enhancements
Foster collaboration between sales, marketing, production, and management teams
Education
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
Experience
8+ years of sales leadership experience and a proven track record of revitalizing underperforming sales teams
Experience In Home Furnishings, Bedding, Or Related Industries Required
Demonstrated success in developing and leading a high-performing sales force
Experience in identifying and penetrating untapped markets

Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools

Work Environment & Travel
Managerial position with frequent travel required
Regular interaction with senior leadership, plant management, and external partners
Ability to create detailed reports and deliver actionable insights
