We are seeking a Director of Sales to lead our national sales team, drive strategic growth, support customer engagement throughout the sales lifecycle, and ensure ongoing development and performance of the sales organization. We believe in the power of collaboration and creating a workplace where people enjoy what they do.Who Are We Looking ForWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Sales to lead our U.S. Sales team. This role is ideal for a strategic leader with a strong background in Sales Management, team development, and cross-functional collaboration-especially within the Mission Critical and Industrial sectors.What You'll DoAdditional Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Lead a team of Account Managers to execute a national sales strategy and achieve revenue targets.Provide daily guidance, coaching, and support to Account Managers to help them meet individual and team sales goals.Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and team check-ins to review pipeline health, account strategies, and performance metrics.Monitor and manage sales activities through CRM tools to ensure accurate forecasting, reporting, and pipeline visibility.Assist Account Managers in developing strategic account plans, identifying upsell opportunities, and resolving customer challenges.Facilitate training and development initiatives to enhance product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement skills.Evaluate, refine, and champion a compelling value proposition tailored to target customer personas.Collaborate with the VP of Sales to align regional and international sales strategies with broader corporate objectives.Provide regular performance updates, forecasts, and strategic insights to the VP of Sales to support executive decision-making.Partner with the VP of Sales on resource allocation, and long-term sales planning initiatives.Collaborate with Marketing to develop sales enablement tools, messaging, and content for internal teams and channel partners.Partner with Inside Sales and Marketing to design and implement promotional campaigns and outreach strategies that drive lead generation and revenue growth.Represent Janitza at industry events and trade shows to enhance brand visibility, generate leads, and build strategic relationships.Support channel partners through direct engagement, strategic guidance, and tailored sales collateral.Continuously measure and optimize the effectiveness of sales strategies, messaging, and team performance using KPIs.Proactively identify and resolve execution challenges by implementing corrective action plans to ensure strategic alignment.What You'll BringQualifications include: Experience in electrical power monitoring systems, electrical engineering or IT background that will increase the ability to understand and challenge customer needs for their electrical distributions systems. Min 5 years' experience in Mission Critical industry, with focus on sales or business development. Electrical project engineering experience with End Users, OEMs, Integrators and Partners. Demonstrated leadership skills in managing and collaborating with diverse teams.Possesses a strong drive to succeed, with an open, constructive, and persistent personality that thrives on challenges.Excellent interpersonal networking skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships both within the organization and with external stakeholders.Proficient in writing customer-focused technical proposals, processing tenders, and delivering presentations.Experience in reviewing legal agreements, terms, and conditions. Willingness to learn and apply new tools, skills development to support success in the role. Open to giving video recorded presentations and comfortable presenting in front of audiences. Candidate to reside in major US metro area within 1 hour commute of an international airport. Experience working and coordinating with remote teams. Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's preferred).5+ years of experience in sales leadership, with a proven track record of managing and scaling sales teams.Experience supervising employees across multiple verticals or product lines.Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.Proficiency with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
