What you'll be doing Manage and develop a team to achieve and deliver revenue goals for each product category on a quarterly and annual basis in the defined geography.
Develop the business plan for the assigned products to meet or exceed area financial sales and marketing objectives. Create and manage intelligence gathering for the area marketplace to ensure objectives are met. Direct tactical implementation of the business plan to meet objectives.
Participate in strategic planning and sales forecasting. Provide market insights, trends, competitive activity and conditions. Recommend changes to strategic and tactical sales plans. Analyze and report changing needs within the sales organization for training, sales programs and field assets. Prepare sales forecasts by trauma product line, quotes and pricing strategies.
Build professional and technical knowledge by engaging with customers, attending scientific conferences, educational workshops, delivering presentations, training field personnel, and reviewing professional publications.
Prepare, administer and control expense budgets as part of overall profits.
Ensure conduct of business is compliant with Bioventus’ Code of Compliance and Ethics, policies and procedures and internal controls applicable to their role.
Attract, develop and retain talent. Align with functional and company goals. Provide employees with continuous feedback and coaching using talent-and-performance management tools.
Collaborate with Audit & Risk Management to identify business risks and implement preventive strategies for the function.
What you'll bring to the table BA or BS in Business, Marketing, Biomedical Sciences, etc. MBA or advanced studies preferred. Five to eight years or more of demonstrated high achievement in Sales / General Management in the medical device industry.
Conceptual, strategic planning skills with demonstrated product line success and growth.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead in a motivating style.
Multi-unit / cross product line management experience.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
