Base pay range
$140,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr
The Director of Sales is responsible for leading and overseeing our Plastics Division sales team, developing sales strategies, setting goals, coaching sales representatives, managing budgets, analyzing performance data, and ensuring the team meets or exceeds sales targets effectively driving revenue for the company by motivating and guiding our sales team to achieve the desired results.
Responsibilities
Represent the company effectively with comprehensive knowledge of our product offerings and capabilities
Research consumer needs and identify how our solutions address them
Hire, train, motivate, and advise a team of sales representatives
Achieve company objectives by planning thoroughly, setting sales goals, analyzing performance data, and making forecasts
Develop skills continuously for hiring, training, and leading team members, and ensure that they\'re using effective sales tactics to meet revenue objectives
Generate leads, and establish and nurture client relationships
Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop plans for filling them
Ensure that company quotas are met by holding daily/weekly/monthly check-ins with the sales team to set objectives and monitor progress
Experience and Skills
5+ years of proven sales management experience in metal forming industry
Willing to travel extensively to customers
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent communicator
