Director of Safety, Risk & Fleet Services

Location: Lake Mary, Florida | Department: Operations | Full-Time Del-Air Plumbing, Air Conditioning, Electric is seeking a dynamic Director of Safety, Risk & Fleet Services to lead our enterprise-wide safety, compliance, claims, and fleet operations. If you’re a proactive leader passionate about workplace safety, risk management, and operational excellence, we want to hear from you! What You'll Do:

Lead safety, risk, fleet, and environmental programs across all Del-Air locations

Oversee incident investigations, claims management, and compliance (OSHA, ADA, DOT, EPA)

Manage property, liability, and workers’ comp claims with HR and legal teams

Direct company-wide fleet operations, including vehicle safety, procurement, and telematics

Drive emergency preparedness and risk mitigation planning

Train teams on safety procedures, regulatory changes, and risk best practices

Serve as the liaison with OSHA and other regulatory agencies

What You Bring:

Bachelor’s degree + 5+ years in risk, safety, or environmental health leadership

OSHA 30 required; OSHA 500/501, CSP, ARM, or CRMA a plus

Proven experience promoting safety culture and leading cross-functional initiatives

Strong knowledge of insurance, compliance, fleet, and emergency planning

Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills

Proficiency in MS Office; Spanish speaking a plus

Valid driver’s license + ability to pass background & drug screening
