QUALIFICATIONS Masters degree and four years of experience in programs for individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential capacity, of which two must be in a supervisory capacity OR a Bachelors degree and seven years of experience in programs for individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential capacity, of which three must be in a supervisory capacity. Must be a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) and possess a valid driver's license. JOB DESCRIPTION Under the general supervision of the Senior Director of Residential Services, the Director of Residential Services will be responsible for the supervision and direction of all group homes operated by the agency, ensuring safety, and compliance in accordance with OPWDD. This position will supervise the Residence Directors as well as the habilitation and health care staff of the group homes Hiring & participation in personnel selection and management activities related to the staff of the group homes On site daily supervision alternating across all group home facilities On call rotation alternating with the Senior Director of Residential Services Manage the person-centered focus of the services for individuals residing in the group homes Communicating with families Manage Personal Income Accounts (PIA) and Spend Downs; random spot checks, unannounced visits Review billing & participate in audits and ensure Plan of Corrective Action (POCA) Supervise and ensure the Residence Directors duties related to the care, well being, and safety and implementation of person centered habilitation plans are carried out Will serve as a member of the Agency's Admission and Discharge Committee, Special Review Committee, Human Rights Committee and other standing and Ad Hoc Committees as assigned Perform other tasks related to the administration and operation of the Agency's group homes as directed by the Associate Executive Director MONDAY-FRIDAY 9:00AM-5:00pm 403(b) Flexible spending account Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid orientation Paid time off Parental leave Vision insurance Seniority level Seniority levelDirector Employment type Employment typeFull-time Job function Job functionOther IndustriesNon-profit Organizations Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at A Very Special Place, Inc.
