Director of Rehabilitation – Licensed Therapist The Horsham Center for Jewish Life – North Wales, PA Job Type: Full-Time
The Horsham Center for Jewish Life is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Rehabilitation to lead our dedicated therapy team.
Our well-respected facility in North Wales, PA includes:
270 long-term care beds
48 personal care apartments
As the Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) , you will oversee all therapy services within the facility. This leadership role is essential in maintaining high standards of clinical care, team collaboration, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations of the rehabilitation department across all therapy disciplines (PT, OT, SLP)
Ensure delivery of high-quality, evidence-based therapy services
Provide supervision, support, and development opportunities to therapists and therapy assistants
Monitor documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
Participate in staffing decisions, performance evaluations, and team meetings
Report directly to facility leadership and serve as a key member of the clinical management team
Qualifications:
Current licensure in the state of Pennsylvania as a COTA, PTA, Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a rehab setting is strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of Medicare and managed care guidelines
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
Passion for improving patient outcomes and supporting a collaborative care environment
