Regency Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center - Regency Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is a 100 bed skilled nursing facility located in Wilmington, DE.  We are currently seeking a Director of Rehabilitation to join our in house therapy department.

SUMMARY:   The Director of Rehabilitation Services is responsible for the efficient operation of the facility’s rehabilitation department.  Working collectively with the entire facility staff, the Director of Rehabilitation Services will ensure that appropriate levels of therapy are provided to all residents who require such service and that the delivery of such therapy services is diverse, consisting of physical, occupational and speech therapy as supported by resident diagnosis.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES .  Listed below are a summary of the position responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Manage a team of therapists and assistants.

2. Monitors the standard of clinical services delivered to ensure adherence to evidence-based care delivery standards and regulatory compliance

3. Ensures the clinical management of the rehab department, including oversight related to case management, quality improvement, care planning, clinical utilization and patient identification.

4. Responsible for the hiring, orientation, development and support of all staff and contract labor

5. Manages relationship with interdisciplinary team, provides reports and develops and implements programs appropriate for the patient population

6. Partners with the administrator to ensure financial success for the facility.

7. Provides quality care for our residents

EDUCATION/VOCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree.

Degree from an accredited program in a rehabilitation field.

Must be licensed as required in the state practice act.

Must be able to practice in their specific discipline as per state guidelines.

EXPERIENCE :  A minimum of 3 years direct care experience and one year of management in long term care is preferred.
