This role involves developing and implementing quality management systems, managing QA teams, and collaborating with cross-functional departments to drive continuous improvement. The Director of QA ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, mitigates risks, and fosters a culture of quality throughout the organization.Responsibilities:Exercise responsibility and authority to:ensure establishment, implementation, and maintenance of needed QMS processes.report to top management on QMS performance and need for any changes.ensure awareness of customer requirements throughout the company.liaise with external parties regarding any matters relating to the QMS.Interface as required with customers on quality-related issues.Interface with all functions of the company to discuss quality issues and to direct implementation of activities and changes arising from these issues.Direct MIS/NTS personnel on matters related to quality.Interface with all MIS/NTS personnel on all matters relating to quality and the QMS.Serve as the immediate authority for employee relations related to issues with personnel that report to him or her. Coordinate with Human Resources related to decisions for his or her direct reports and include Human Resources on formal disciplinary actions.Perform activities in support of MIS/NTS operations as directed by the President or Executive VP.Signatory responsibilities include final QA approval of controlled documents.Qualifications and Experience:Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Quality Assurance related or an Engineering field.
