This is accomplished through implementation of the Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) Plan and other related plans and programs. The Director is designated as the patient safety officer and clinical/legal risk manager, a member of the Grievance Committee, and serves as a resource to the Patient Representative in investigations and responses. Supervises overall infection control and prevention at all Stillwater Medical managed and owned entities. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors Degree required. Five years management experience in a similar position. Knowledge of quality improvement, patient safety, infection control, accreditation, compliance, peer review and risk management responsibilities. Certified in Risk Management or eligible for certification within three years. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have adequate perception of sounds or adequate hearing with corrections. Must be able to effectively communicate with others in person, by email and over the telephone. Adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to prepare reports and read written materials.
