Are you an experienced PR and communications leader ready to shape stories that move markets and people? We’re looking for a Director of Public Relations to join our leadership team, someone who combines strategic insight with creative fire, leads with empathy, and inspires others to do their best work.
What You’ll Do Guide a talented group of PR professionals while managing a diverse portfolio of B2B and B2C clients as part of the agency leadership team.
Play a pivotal role in client strategy, team development, and agency growth.
Lead client strategy and execution across multiple industries (e.g., restaurants, franchising, banking, commercial real estate, et al) from positioning and messaging to proactive media relations and thought leadership.
Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior-level clients, offering expert counsel on communications challenges, opportunities, and reputation management.
Mentor, coach, and inspire a high-performing team, fostering accountability, creativity, and professional growth.
Elevate client visibility through exceptional writing, storytelling, and media relationships.
Collaborate with agency leadership on new business development, helping to shape proposals and pitch strategies.
Drive results that matter, ensuring every campaign is aligned with client objectives and measurable outcomes.
What You’ll Bring 10+ years of PR or communications experience, including prior agency experience (required).
Proven ability to lead integrated PR campaigns across both B2B and B2C sectors.
Exceptional writing, communication, and presentation skills; you know how to make complex stories clear, compelling, and relevant.
Strategic mindset with a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach.
Experience mentoring and leading teams, ideally within a small to mid-sized agency setting.
A collaborative spirit, entrepreneurial energy, and genuine passion for people and purpose.
What Success Looks Like Within 90 days, you’ve built strong relationships with clients, established trust with your team, and identified quick-win opportunities to elevate performance. Within 6 months, you’re leading multiple high-impact campaigns and contributing to agency strategy, growth, and culture.
