Position Summary
The Director of Product is responsible for modeling the Compassus values of Compassion, Integrity, Excellence, Teamwork, and Innovation and for promoting the Compassus philosophy, using the 6 Pillars of Success as the foundation. S/he is responsible for upholding the Code of Ethical Conduct and for promoting positive working relationships within the company, among all departments, and all external stakeholders. The Director of Product leads the development and product management of innovative value-based care models within Compassus. S/he provides thought leadership for new product models and leads cross-functional teams to successfully develop and deploy new products. Additionally, the Director of Product is responsible for the growth of new product models, market-level implementation success, and ongoing management of the product model.
Position Specific Responsibilities Leads product development activities, including thought leadership, product rationalization, product-related ROI and financial modeling, playbook creation, and clinical operations design. Leads product implementation in coordination with clinical operations partner and project management team. Provides product oversight and management. Leads product growth activities, including pipeline development and management, growth, and contracting in collaboration with partnership and legal teams. Acts as a central point of contact for the product with ultimate product accountability. Develops long-range product strategies and guides fiscal planning for future positioning, growth, and evolution of the product platform. Stays up-to-date on all new competitive product launches and trends and issues comprehensive critiques of competitive products in the marketplace. Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to develop innovative concepts, technology, and ingredients. Works with the development team, user experience team, growth team, and all other appropriate stakeholders to prioritize and deliver new products. Performs other duties as assigned. Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree required. MBA or other advanced degree preferred. Minimum of five (5) years of healthcare work experience with product management/development, growth, negotiations, and/or account management required. Skills Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage. Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from leaders, team members, investors, and external parties. Strong written and verbal communications. Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English. Articulates and embraces integrated healthcare at home philosophy.
Physical Demands and Work Environment: The demands of this role necessitate a team member to effectively perform essential functions. Adaptations can be made to accommodate team members with disabilities. Regular standing, walking, and manual dexterity are fundamental, along with the ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds. Visual acuity requirements include close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
