Position Overview
A dynamic and strategic Director of Product Marketing and Management is needed to lead a global pharmacy solutions business through its next phase of growth. This role centers on scaling a mature product portfolio across key global markets—while evolving the operating culture of a team transitioning from a startup to an enterprise mindset.
This individual will bring deep product management and product marketing expertise , strong business acumen, and proven leadership in a matrixed, global organization. With a growing office of over 200 employees and a highly visible product line, this role offers a unique opportunity to both build and scale—driving forward a critical portfolio in the pharmacy adherence space while shaping the culture, team capability, and future leadership bench of the site.
Key Responsibilities
Own the strategic direction, performance, and lifecycle management of a global Medication Adherence Portfolio, including packaging technologies and related automation products.
Guide a junior product team through structured mentoring and hands-on leadership—establishing rigor in process while preserving agility and innovation.
Partner with executive leadership to drive global commercialization strategies and optimize geographic footprint; assess which markets to enter, scale, or pull back from.
Conduct product portfolio evaluations to determine where to invest, expand, or sunset solutions for long-term viability and profitability.
Build and strengthen strategic partnerships to creatively expand market reach and revenue pull-through.
Lead P&L ownership, develop business cases, manage pricing strategy, and drive portfolio profitability across North America, Europe, and Australia.
Champion voice-of-customer feedback loops to translate customer needs into actionable development roadmaps and sustainable value propositions.
Communicate program priorities and strategic trade-offs clearly across stakeholders at all levels.
Act as a cultural pillar and leadership presence in the Durham office—developing local talent, building high-performing teams, and shaping the next generation of leadership.

What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree required ; advanced degree in business, life sciences, engineering, or a healthcare-related discipline preferred.
7+ years of product management experience, with a strong foundation in upstream product marketing and business case development.
Demonstrated success in managing and growing mature product lines , ideally within the healthcare, medical device, or life sciences sector.
Experience with global markets and navigating complex commercial landscapes—particularly in the U.S., Canada, Germany, UK, EU, and Australia.
Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a matrixed, enterprise environment while retaining a startup-like mindset toward innovation and speed.
Experience guiding teams through cultural transformation—balancing entrepreneurial spirit with scalable systems and process adoption.
Strong financial and analytical skills; ability to drive P&L, forecast performance, and assess ROI.
Exceptional interpersonal, mentoring, and communication skills—with a passion for team development and cross-functional collaboration.
Must be based in or willing to relocate to Durham, NC and bring a consistent leadership presence onsite.
