We are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Procurement & Vendor Management to lead sourcing and vendor operations for our residential and business fiber-to-the-premises (FTTP) deployments. This senior leadership role will oversee procurement strategy, vendor negotiations, and supply chain performance to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of materials and services supporting both FTTH (Fiber to the Home) and FTTB (Fiber to the Business) growth.

Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end procurement function, including strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, and vendor management across all fiber construction and network delivery categories. Develop and manage procurement strategies that support the timely deployment of residential and business fiber infrastructure while driving cost optimization and risk mitigation. Oversee all external vendor relationshipsconstruction contractors, OEMs, equipment suppliersand ensure performance against service level agreements (SLAs), compliance standards, and financial terms. Collaborate closely with Finance, Engineering, Construction, and Field Operations to align procurement planning with project timelines and capital budgets. Manage inventory forecasts, lead-time tracking, and material availability for both new builds and ongoing operations. Continuously monitor market trends and supply chain disruptions to proactively adjust sourcing strategies. Establish and monitor KPIs for procurement effectiveness, vendor performance, and financial impact; report regularly to the CFO and executive team. Drive process improvements and technology adoption to scale procurement operations as the business grows. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field. 7+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain leadership, including 3+ years in a director or senior management role. Telecom industry experience required, with direct involvement in FTTH and FTTB deployments. Strong knowledge of fiber network components (fiber cable, enclosures, ONTs, OLTs, customer premises equipment, etc.) and construction workflows. Proven success managing complex vendor relationships, multimillion-dollar contracts, and RFP processes. Highly analytical with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and procurement-related financial reporting. Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, with a strong ability to influence across departments and executive teams. Preferred Experience: Experience with residential and enterprise fiber builds in both urban and rural markets. Familiarity with make-ready, permitting, and logistical challenges unique to telecom infrastructure deployment.
