Overview Director of Player Development Denver Country Club – Denver, Colorado Denver Country Club is seeking a passionate and experienced Director of Player Development to lead and grow our instructional programs for golfers of all ages and abilities. This full-time, year-round position offers an incredible opportunity to shape player development at one of the most historic private clubs in the country. Founded in 1887, the Denver Country Club is the oldest club west of the Mississippi and has been in Cherry Creek since 1901. The golf course has been shaped by renowned architects including Donald Ross, A.W. Tillinghast, Bill Coore, and Gil Hanse. The Club has hosted prestigious events such as the Trans-Mississippi Amateur, PGA Tour events, and USGA Qualifiers. Beyond golf, members enjoy tennis, swimming, ice skating, and both casual and formal dining. With over 800 members—600 of whom have golf privileges—the Club averages 24,000 rounds annually. The strong caddie program includes more than 30 caddies, many of whom have earned Evans Scholarships. The Club was also honored as the Colorado Section PGA’s Private Merchandiser of the Year in 2012 and 2017. Responsibilities: Provide private and group instruction for all skill levels. Develop and lead innovative junior, ladies, and beginner programs. Mentor professional staff in teaching and coaching techniques. Utilize advanced technologies including Foresight, SportsBox AI, and TPI. Oversee practice facilities and the indoor learning center. Actively engage with members through play, clinics, and events. Qualifications: PGA Class A or LPGA Member in good standing. Minimum 3 years of teaching or player development experience. Strong communication and leadership skills. Experience in private club environments preferred. Certifications such as TPI, AimPoint, U.S. Kids Golf, ADM, or Operation 36 are a plus. Compensation & Benefits: Compensation: $50,000 annual salary.$125 per 45-minute lesson (Club retains 15%).Group lessons, Playing lessons, Clinics, and Coaching Package pricing to be approved by leadership.Total potential initial compensation based on historical averages: $100,000.
